All our dishes ingredients are locally sourced and cooked in house to your liking. Brilliant cottage tea rooms nestled in the somerset countryside along the regional cycle route 51 and two moors way on the climb up to selworthy beacon. Periwinkle cottage sits at the heart of the national trust selworthy green and has its origins in the c17th. Steeped in history periwinkle cottage was remodelled when selworthy green was created in 1828 as almshouses for retired staff of the holnicote estate and has for many years been tea rooms and gardens.

We will only be serving in the tea garden and are limited to a maximum of 30 people at any one time. Open 11am 4pm daily. All our dishes ingredients are locally sourced and cooked in house to your liking. If all the seats are taken that means we can only have 4 extra people including children of all ages either ordering or waiting for coffee.

Check out the gift shop and gallery whilst you re there all housed in this national trust owned thatched cottage. We are re opening on wednesday 8 july 2020 and thereafter daily 11am 4pm.
